There is nothing like Dad – the commemorative figurine from spare parts

Parts that lay in the warehouse have become an exciting figurine that commemorates Avigdor's legacy

Avigdor was an optics engineer, he ran a binocular repair and night vision factory in the army. After he passed away, children found boxes of spare parts for binoculars and devices for resetting night vision at his home.

Avigdor’s children sought to use these parts to create a commemoration in his memory, and this connects precisely with the recycling ideology of Oded who believes that nothing old should be thrown away, that everything is repairable or recyclable.

Oded built a commemorative figurine in memory of Avigdor with the caption “There is nothing like a father on the back of one of the wooden soles he built into a figurine.

A man, Avigdor who was an optics engineer and when he died he had boxes of spare parts for binoculars and devices for resetting night vision
